Variegated Boobie Cactus - 4"

The rarest of all of our cacti, Myrtillocactus geometrizans Fukurokuryuzinboku variegata, aka. the “Variegated Boobie Cactus” or “Variegated Titty Cactus” is an incredibly rare cacti that we've never seen before in-person until we got our hands on a couple of these babies in Summer of 2024.

A species of flowering cactus native to Northern-Central Mexico, and known for its unique growth pattern. They can get up to 13 feet tall when fully mature!

Care: This low-maintenance plant is perfect for those who like a hands-off approach to their plant collection. Simply place it in a pot with well-draining soil in a section of your house or garden that gets bright, indirect light for most of the day, and you’re done! Make sure this variegated varietal gets plenty of light or it might revert back to its non-variegated form! It is crucial to let the soil nearly completely dry out between waterings. If you water too often, the roots will start to rot and lead to the death of the plant. A good test is to stick your finger an inch into the soil before watering. If the soil is dry, it’s time for a good soak. If it’s still even the slightest bit damp, let it sit for another week and try again. It is not cold hardy, so make sure you bring them inside during the winter if your area is prone to freezing!
