Totem Cactus - 6"

Boy howdy, this is a fun one. We love our totem cacti and we hope you will too. This funky lil fella grows in a random, asymmetrical pattern, with bumps and nubs protruding all over the main body. The best part about this groovy guy is that it's spineless! That's right, that means those of you with little ones or pets prone to curiosity don't have to worry about any accidental pricks!

Pachycereus schottii var. monstrosus aka. the "Totem Cactus" or "Totem Pole Cactus" is a species of cactus known for it's slowww growth and unique growth pattern.

Care: As with most of our cacti, full sun and a well-draining potting mix is the name of the game. Any cactus/succulent potting mix will be fine; he's not picky. During the growing season, place it in a warm spot of your house or garden that gets bright, direct light for most of the day. They are extremely drought-tolerant, and are highly susceptible to root rot, so it's better to set it and forget it (ie. let the soil completely dry out between waterings). As usual, if you're cold, they're cold; bring them inside!
